More about Documentary's

So I'm sitting here thinking about what to post an article about and all I can think about is more documentary's. I've always been interested in film and gaining knowledge so I guess that's why I love them so much. Anyways I wanted to talk about a documentary I saw a few weeks ago which is still fresh in my mind. It's about the Large Hadron Collider. The documentary is called "The Six Billion Dollar Experiment" and if you haven't heard about it I HIGHLY suggest you watch this documentary right now.

You may be thinking "why should I care about some crazy science experiment?" well this experiment will give us a complete understanding about everything. It's designed to collide particles at a speed at 7 times that of light, re-creating events of the big bang. They hope to discover how mass is made, the last key in a complete understanding of everything. From which we'll know if there are other dimensions and possibly how to access them. There are a lot of theory's which I can't really cover but I think this documentary does a fantastic job.

I think it would be sweet if there were other dimensions that we could access, think of the possibility's! The laws of physics in one dimension could be completely different in another. Crazy stuff to think about. Anyways, this documentary will really make you think and give you great insight. Highly recommend.

Another documentary I wanted to suggest is The Worlds First Time Machine. I know it may seem like non fiction but it is very real. I think his theory sounds pretty legit, like it could actually work. Take a look and leave your thoughts below.

  1. My favourite documentaries are science with a wacky twist to them. Like the MythBusters.
    Discovery Science ftw! :)

  2. quite funny when people in my area thought a black hole would emerge the first time it was switched on :)

  4. Discovery Channel and National Geographic always have pretty cool documentaries. Just hang there, in your couch, and slowly let knowledge enter your mind. Great foor lazy people like me ^^;

  5. Maaaan that was good I love those kinds of documentaries !
I was always hoping for a black hole with the Large Hadron Collider. Could you imagine that !?

  6. The large hadron collider is pretty interesting. Wonder how long until we get any breakthroughs that possibly change the way we see the world.

  7. I'm always interested in this kind of thing. I am working on getting an internship right now at a particle accelerator in Illinois.

  8. I've been interested in physics and the universe and things for years! Ever since we got taught it in physics it's been interesting. All this stuff is pretty cool!

  9. I don't know if you watch Metalocolyps, but there's one episode where they make a time travel device. Its basically them putting a paper bag over their head and traveling into the future at the speed of normal time. oh for the lulz.

  10. whenever I see tyrone, I can't help but think "shit tyrone, get it together". It's a pic with a black guy named tyrone on jeopardy, with -1600 dollars, and that text

  12. The Large Hadron Collider will create a black hole and destroy our world. Nostradamus predicted this. That's what I heard anyways, I think it's pretty cool.

  13. I'll have to check the doc about LHC. People often talk about that, but I know almost nothing about the topic.

  14. Heres to hoping that the LHC doesn't create a black hole and destroy the world.

That would really put a damper on my day.

  15. Followed and supporting!

The LHC gives me such a nerd-on. I figure antimatter explosives are nearly within science's grasp.

    I'm over at cleancutwellkept.blogspot.com, if you're interested.

  17. I love how things like this simultaneously capture my imagination and blow my mind at the same times. I once watched a documentary about string theory. At 8:00 it started, and at 8:03, my brain exploded XP
